Flint

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 10, 2026 · Last updated: June 10, 2026

Flint is built on a simple principle: your habit data is yours. We collect only what we need to run the app, we never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers.

1. Who we are

Flint ("we", "us", "our") is a habit tracking application developed and operated as an independent product. For privacy-related questions, contact us at privacy@myonlyflint.com.

2. What information we collect

Information you provide directly:

Information collected automatically:

What we do NOT collect:

3. How we use your information

4. Data storage and security

Your habit data is stored primarily on your device in a local SQLite database. If you enable backup, your data is synced to your personal iCloud account (iOS) or Google Drive account (Android) — accounts controlled by you, not by us.

We use industry-standard encryption for any data transmitted to our servers. Account credentials are never stored in plain text. We use Supabase for authentication, which is SOC 2 compliant.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

5. Third-party services

Flint uses a small number of trusted third-party services to operate:

We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics platforms that track you across apps.

6. Children's privacy

Flint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@myonlyflint.com or use the in-app account deletion feature in Settings → Support & about → Delete account.

8. Push notifications

We send push notifications only when you have granted permission and only for the purposes you have configured — habit reminders, evening nudges, and weekly review prompts. You can manage or disable all notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app under Settings → Notifications.

9. International users

Flint is available globally. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively. We process your data based on your consent (for optional features) and on our legitimate interests (for core app functionality). For any data rights requests, contact privacy@myonlyflint.com.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent update. Continued use of Flint after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
